Jan obtained his BA (Law) in 1975 and LLB in 1977 at Stellenbosch University, and a Certificate in Deceased Estate practice in 2000 from UNISA. He was admitted as an attorney in 1984, and practiced in partnership and for his own account before joining Walkers in 1998. He specialises in the administration of estates, trusts and curatorships, estate planning and drafting of wills and is a regular presenter of seminars on estate planning and wills.

Rosette Haynes

Trust Officer
Rossette specialises in the administration of trusts, bookkeeping functions including the preparation of financial statements for individuals, trusts and companies, computation of provision tax and income tax, rendering of tax returns, applications for tax clearance and emigration applications. She has obtained (cum laude) UCT certificates in South African Taxation, as well as the qualification as Senior Bookkeeper Financial Statements.
