Belinda studied at Stellenbosch University where she obtained her BA Law degree and her LLB (cum laude). Thereafter she went to the United States of America on a Fulbright Scholarship, studied at Temple University in Philadelphia and was awarded an LLM degree (cum laude). Belinda was admitted as an advocate in 1989 and practiced as a member of the Cape Bar, regularly being briefed by Walkers. She was admitted as an attorney in May 1998 and became a director of Walkers in November 1999. She focuses on negotiating and drafting of complex commercial transactions, and also does civil litigation and opinion work. |
