Walkers’ Commercial Department will present an overview of the new Companies Act, focusing on the following key areas:
Directors’ Code of Conduct and consequent liabilities; Protection afforded to minority Shareholders and Appraisal rights; Business Rescue provisions and their effect on Creditors rights; the status of Shareholders’ Agreements;
Company and Close Corporation Audit requirements.
A panel discussion, including questions and answers, will take place at the conclusion of the presentation.
