The firm Walkers has its origins in the year 1828. In the twentieth century it was known for many years as Walker, Lewis, Godley & Field. Expansion in the early 1980's led to the name changing to Walker, Malherbe, Godley & Field. In 1999 the partnership, by then known simply as Walkers, incorporated and appointed a number of new directors.

The directors of Walkers place great value on integrity and professionalism. Personal communication with our clients is a key part of our determination to deliver work on budget and on time. We provide loyal and consistent service to our clients in all the main areas of legal practice. We are open to new challenges emerging from the changing local and international social and economic environment.
